S.ST Blog Class 4&5

 Hello everyone, this is my first Blogger post and I will let you know about S.St of our country India,so without any problem let's start.

The first thing that a new student of Class 4 or 5 should know in S.St is Physical divisions of India.

India is divided into 6 physical divisions and each for different reasons,I will let you know the names of every division from north to the south.

•The Northern Mountains

•The Northern Plains or The Indo-Gangetic Plains

•The Great Indian desert or The Thar Desert

•The Peninsular Platue or The Platue Region

•The Coastal Plains

•The Islands Group

Physical Map of India-

The Northern Mountains-The Purple and the Northest Part of the map is known as The Northern Mountains because it is in the North and is full of Mountains.The Northern Mountains the is divided into three parts the bigger Himalayas in the North end the outter Himalayas in the center and Lesser Himalayas in the south.The bigger are known as Himadri, Outter as Himachal and Lesser as Shiwaliks.Most of the part the part of the Himalyas is located in the Northern Mountains.The three most highest mountain peaks are located in the Himalayas.

K2 is actully located in Pakistan but in India we believe that K2 is located in India.The Kanchunga is located in state of Sikkim and is even whiter than milk.It looks very beautiful in the evening at 5'O clock to 6'O clock.It is very difficult to live or survive in The Northern Mountains.It covers the states of Jammu & Kashmir,Ladhak,Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Sikkim and Andhra Pradesh.

The Northern Plains-The green part of the map is The Northern Plains which is also known as The Indo Gangetic Plains.It has most comfortable temperature in India.It covers the states and territories of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh,Delhi,Uttar Pradesh,Bihar,Assam and West Bengal.The climate of this region is Normal as the temperature is comfortable.Did you know what is a climate-A climate is weather of a region throughout the year.

The Peninsular Platue-The Peninsular Platue region also known as The Platue region is named as Peninsular Platue region because most of the part of the Peninsular Platue region is included in the Indian Peninsula and has a lots of Platue.Did you know what is a Peninsula and Platue.A Peninsula
